Introduction

Third Committee of the United Nations General Assembly, also known as the Social, Humanitarian, and Cultural Committee (SOCHUM), focuses on issues dealing with fundamental human rights in the international community. SOCHUM was founded in 1945 in reaction to the establishment of the Universal Declaration on Human Rights (UDHR). In this year of SOBILMUN, the first topic the delegates will debate upon is the Precautions Against International Human Trafficking on Women and Children. Our second agenda item is about Maintaining The Cultural Heritage of The Uyghur Turks and Diversity. Delegates are expected to discuss these issues and find possible solutions.
